About The Awards
The New South Wales Health Awards:
Introduced in 1999, the New South Wales Health Awards recognise healthcare workers from across NSW in all disciplines and applaud those who have worked to achieve excellence and innovation in healthcare. Hundreds of entries are received annually competing for awards across ten categories. The Director-General also awards six commendations. The Minister presents six inaugural Access Awards and three Minister's Awards.
The New South Wales Premier’s Public Sector Awards
These awards formally recognise and reward achievements of excellence within the New South Wales public sector. They showcase the vast range of services delivered by the public sector and showcase innovations and good practice that occur across the state of New South Wales.
The New South Wales Aboriginal Health Awards
The NSW Aboriginal Health Awards acknowledge and nurture excellence for health services provided to Aboriginal people and communities in NSW. They recognise individuals, teams and organisations that show outstanding practice in the field of Aboriginal health.
